The Imo state police command has arrested a 23-year-old suspected cultist, Wisdom Uzoma, for allegedly killing a man, Tobechi Chijioke Duru during a cult clash on February 20. A 22-year-old woman has died two months after making a post about death on Facebook. Sandra Chinenye Obioha Ihekwereme wrote on Facebook on April 4: “If I die in this lockdown no need for autopsy. Na yam and red oil and garri with salt kill me.” Sadly, Sandra passed on on June 12. Her obituary says she died “after a brief illness.” She will be laid to rest on Friday, July 3. A man has died after he was struck by lightning during a downpour in Edo state. The man, identified simply as Mr. Edafe, died on Thursday, June 4, in Benin, Edo State. The deceased was reportedly working at a building site around the Cattle Market in Asoro Hill, on Ekehuan Road, when the rain started. He took refuge in a nearby uncompleted building.
