  The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) on Friday said it was alarmed by the upsurge in violence in the Greater Kasai region of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), which has already displaced thousands of civilians. Air Peace airline says its pilots, cabin crew and other customer-facing personnel have started receiving the COVID-19 vaccine as part of efforts to curtail the spread of the virus.
